Product Description

The Camden Gap Jaquima is the Camden Gap Headstall with a Noseband and Barbada attached. Complete and ready to use on your Paso Fino or any other breed for training or pleasure riding. This is the training outfit of choice for the Paso Fino. A bit hanger and bit can be added in later training for refinement, or you can use the Jaquima alone if a bit is not needed. A Pisador can be added as a cowboy neckrope or see the Jaquima/Pisador Combo for the built in version. The Barbada is heavy, so that if you need it to "bite" it will. This all depends you your hands of course! Each headstall comes with either a Brass or Stainless Steel Rosette at the temple. This Jaquima is not a "show' jaquima although it is made from the finest English bridle leather, but it is heavy enough for continuous training and riding. We call it mule tough because our leather worker rides mules and makes them that way. If you doubt the fit, use the measurements below to check.

Measurements:

Throat Latch when Buckled. 38" to 42"

Brow Band from end to end. 17.5"

Nose Band average from outside of rings 11.5"

Curb/ Barbada  9" to 12"

Headstall from bottom of snaps: 36.5" to 43.5" from noseband around head

I have been riding my Paso Fino in a bitless headstall for six years. I had one made for him when I bought him and it is unfortunately wearing out. I have been looking for a long time and saw this one on a Paso on line. I was so excited to find the Camden bitless headstalls I ordered one and it works just as good as my original hand made one. It is very well made and strong. I have been training our Appaloosa with my original headstall so I have ordered a second one for him. Thank you so much for a great product
